Afsona is the venue, which takes the position of a modern Uzbek restaurant. It can be seen in the modern design of the restaurant and national ornament of the interior: stylish tandyrs (national clay ovens), the hall decorated with wooden gratings. By the way the design of the restaurant Afsona was worked out by the leading London agency Design LSM. Also one of the best contemporary artists of Uzbekistan Bobur Ismailov participated in the designing. Afsona offers to taste national cuisine oriented to healthy life-style.
Moreover guests can watch the fascinating process of cooking thanks to the open-view kitchen.

I had the pleasure of dining in Afsona and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Menu, ambience, food quality, interior and service were very much to my liking. Recommended!

I accidentally forgot to bring back my hand sanitizer (pink pretty bottle, made in USA, difficult to find here in this country) into my bag after the business lunch today, September 21, 2011 at this restaurant. In the evening, I realized I have left it on that table and phoned them. They said “Is it such an important thing?” Excuse me. That was given by my good sister-in-law before I come here, as a sort of “good-luck” gift. Besides, whether it is important or not for me is rather obvious as I have phoned them to know if they have found it. I do not know if they seriously tried to help to solve their customer’s (i.e. my) concern. The bottom line is, their customer service is ABYSMAL. Their staff could be thieves; if they find something left behind after their customers left, they think they can take it home. Better spend your money somewhere else. You can find a good business lunch, or dinner with more reasonably priced + good service in other premises.
