Now the Baku tourist attractions will be served by sightseeing double-deckers, - reports votpusk.ru portal, citing the Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The double-deckers will operate in a 15 km loop for the tourists to see the sights such as Icheri-Sheher, ancient Maiden's Tower, as well as the new symbol of the Azerbaijani capital – Primorsky Boulevard, Flame Towers, and Heydar Aiyev Cultural Center. In the course of excursions the audio-guide will provide all the information in eight languages.
The new deckers will be based on “hop on – hop off” system, used in other major cities of the world: anybody, who wants to see sights closer, can light down from the decker and continue the excursion later, taking the next double-deckers, operating with a 30-minute interval.
A ticket for such city tour will be valid for 24 hours and will cost for foreign tourists 20 AZN (about $25), the locals 10 AZN (about $13), veterans, pensioners and students twice as little, while journalists, children under 5 and incapacitated persons can take such excursion free of charge.
