If you want to admire Georgian dishes in a creative presentation and at the same time study the interior details in the spirit of an old Georgian mansion, Shavi Lomi restaurant will give you a lot of interesting impressions.
The restaurant was opened by the chef Merico Gubeladze, who returned to Georgia after working in the USA. During the long search for a chef, the owner decided to lead the process herself and began to apply the skills she had acquired abroad. The philosophy of the restaurant is the creation of traditional Georgian dishes with a twist: the search for new combinations of flavors and ingredients in the usual traditional dishes. Merico's culinary experiments allowed her to create an extensive menu that includes dozens of the most popular dishes of Georgian cuisine. The restaurant's regulars especially praise the assorted phali with pickles and cheese, lamb kebab and khachapuri with herbs and spices.
The interiors of the restaurant are lined with antique furniture, retro lamps and floor lamps, and the walls of each room are hung with paintings, mirrors and decorative carpets. You can sit at a table and wait for a luxurious dinner not only in Shavi Lomi's cozy parlors, but also on the terrace or in the middle of a green courtyard. The restaurant is ideal for meetings with friends as well as banquets for 40-50 people. The restaurant has an excellent wine list.
