The twin consists of two adjacent rooms and a separate bath-room with a washbasin, shower and lavatory. These rooms were also the place where travelers arriving in Bukhara with trade caravans from far off countries lived two thousand years ago. Up to date the old planning of the caravan serail rooms remains the same – the arches supporting lower wooden domes, grids decorated with oriental carving, wall niches holding the dishes, pictures and other objects of ancient culture.
