This conclusion follows from the report, made by the Road Fund at the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan at the Transit and Logistic Seminars.
By 2016 Uzbekistan plans to modernize four sections of the highways with total length of 2,306 km, 12.UZ reports.
Furthermore within 3 years to come, 19 camping sites and 18 motels, 36 fuel filling stations, 59 gas filling stations, 78 service and medical aid stations, as well as 24 sites for a short car stop equipped with public toilets will be built along the Uzbek national motorway of length 2,755km.
The construction of such large-scale road infrastructure will cost to the government more than 100,000,000 USD.
