KIOGE 2009 - Exhibition
KIOGE witnessed the very beginning of Kazakhstan’s oil and gas industry. It has become a launch pad for many of the world’s leading hydrocarbon stakeholders to start operations in Kazakhstan’s oil and gas industry. The main aim of the exhibition and conference is to stimulate interaction between experts, analysts and government representatives. On many occasions major names in the industry confirm the achievement of this goal.
“The issues raised during the forum provide a comprehensive understanding of recent achievements and the potential of Kazakhstan’s oil and gas industry, and stimulate further development,” notes Sauat Mynbayev, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in his welcome letter to KIOGE 2009 participants.
Since the time it was launched, KIOGE has been held under the auspices and with the annual involvement of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan and KazMunaiGas National Company JSC. Official support for the event is provided by the Almaty City Akimat, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kazakhstan, and Diplomatic Missions of the participating countries.
