Day 1: Shymkent – Tashkent

Our driver will meet you at Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan border point Chernyaevka and transfer to the hotel. Check in to the hotel at noon. In the afternoon your guide will meet you at your hotel lobby to start sightseeing in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan and the biggest city in Central Asia. Visit Old City part of Tashkent with the Khast-Imam Complex where the world famous holy book Quran of Caliph Uthman has been preserved. In Khast-Imam visit Madrasah of Barak-Khan, Tillya-Sheykh Mosque, Mausoleum of the Saint Kaffal Shashi and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari. Explore Chorsu Bazaar. Then take a ride on Tashkent Metro to the city center to walk through Amir Timur Square, Independence Square and visit Applied Arts Museum. Free time in the evening.
Duration of sightseeing tour: 4-5 hours

Day 2: Tashkent – Samarkand – Tashkent

Transfer to the Railway Station at 07:15. The high-speed train Afrosiyob

departs at 08:00. and arrives in Samarkand at 10:10. A guide and driver will meet you at the station, which is a starting point of the Samarkand tour. The tour program includes visits to Gur-Emir Mausoleum, Registan Square, Bibi Khanum Mosque, Shahi-Zinda Necropolis, Ulugbek Observatory and the central Samarkand bazaar. Back to the railway station at 16:00. The train departs at 17:00 and arrives in Tashkent at 19:10. Transfer to the hotel.
Duration of sightseeing tour: 6-7 hours

Day 3: Tashkent – departure

In the morning transfer to Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan border point Chernyaevka. End of the tour.

All transfers 1-2 pax by sedan type car; 3-7 pax by van type car;
Accommodation based on double/twin room sharing, breakfasts included;
Sightseeing tour program in each city with local guides;
Entrance fees to sights as per itinerary;
Business/Economy-class ticket for train Tashkent – Samarkand – Tashkent as per option (on rare occasions when the high-speed train is unavailable, we will replace this with the most-comfortable class of regular train).

Tour leader to accompany the travellers for the whole period of the tour;
