Youth Palace of Art

This palace is the former estate of Anichkov Palace built in the 18th century. This magnificent building in the baroque style was built by different architects. Initially, the construction of the palace and park complex was supposed to be led by M.I. Zemtsov. After his death the construction was continued by his studen G. Dmitriev. And in 1750s Rastrelli supervised the construction. Later the palace was repeatedly rebuilt. In 1937, after another renovation this palace was given to young pioneers. Now it is the Youth Palace of Art.
