A folklore show in the Nadir Divan-Begi Madrasah is the best way to get acquainted with the dance traditions of Uzbekistan. The evening show takes place in the courtyard of this historical monument from the 17th century, so guests can dine in a pleasant medieval setting while watching the grand production.
A great stage is located in the large courtyard of the Nadir Divan-Begi, behind which the musicians sit. There are tables on three sides of the stage that can accommodate 150-180 guests. In addition, shops are arranged along the edges of the courtyard in some hujras (cells), where guests can buy Uzbek clothes, accessories, ceramics and more.
During the hour-long show, guests will see the different types of Uzbek dances from each region: Ferghana, Khorezm, Bukhara, Andijan, as well as dances from Iran and Tajikistan. Guests will also be treated to samples of the musical traditions of Uzbekistan. A fashion show highlighting the work of Uzbek fashion designers takes place between the dances. The clothing featured shows how they combine a modern style and national traditions.
