Hotel Basilic is a small, comfortable hotel in the historical part of Bukhara, located 200 metres from the Lyabi-Khauz complex. Unlike many Bukhara hotels that are hidden in the depths of Bukhara’s old quarter, Hotel Basilic is located close to the road – allowing you to easily take your luggage to and from the car or taxi.

The hotel is a two-storey building with 18 rooms located around a small, cozy courtyard. The rooms are decorated in a classic style in bright colours and with traditional Uzbek motifs. They’re equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including soft beds, air conditioning, televisions, and other furniture. Bathrooms are bright and clean, and some have bathtubs.

While the hotel doesn’t have extensive facilities, it makes up for this with its Bukhara style and homely atmosphere where guests can relax after long days of sightseeing. The small courtyard has tables and tapchans, creating an image of an eastern summer café. On the ground floor, there is a small breakfast restaurant that is richly decorated with oriental ornaments, stucco molding, and other local decorations. Staff are friendly and attentive, and free wi-fi is available throughout the hotel.
