The State Joint Stock Railway Company "Uzbekistan Railways” refreshes a passenger locomotive fleet.
According to Uzdaily.com, the company is planning to buy 15 new passenger locomotives. In addition, Uzbekistan Railways reached an agreement with a Consortium of Chinese CNTIC and CNR DLRC to buy 11 freight locomotives.
Moreover, Uzbekistan Railways Company develops the serial manufacture of most sought-after passenger and freight wagons.
Using the credit extended by the China Eximbank, Uzbekistan Railways Company plans to buy 28 locomotives in total till 2015.
