Carrying out different types of fairs and exhibitions of Uzbek craftsmen became good tradition in Uzbekistan and more often such exhibitions and fairs are included into the program of various public events, devoted to Uzbekistan.
Thus, for example, twice a year, in spring and autumn, at the height of the tourist season in Tashkent, there is conducted “Bazar-art” exhibition, organized by the Fund Forum of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan. Also, every last Sunday of every month, there is carried out Bazaar of traditional souvenirs at the five-star “International Hotel Tashkent” (former “Intercontinental Tashkent”).
Last Sunday, the fair baton was picked up by Dedeman hotel, where also was conducted an exhibition-fair “City of masters”. Here were presented the products of national applied art of Uzbekistan. One of the biggest banquet halls of the hotel, named “Silk Road”, was adapted for this fair.
Guests and residents of the capital had an opportunity to see and buy colorful souvenirs and accessories in Uzbek national style. During the fair, there was also organized charitable table: all recourses from selling the goods from that table will be spent on costly treatment of cancer of the 4-month old girl Angelina, from the Home of Babies.
