Navenakhevi Cave was formed into two levels, and its general space is divided into several separate halls. The total length of the cave is 250 meters, and every inch of this amazing place is worth seeing. Taking photos and videos is allowed in the cave, which means that every visitor will be able to take excellent shots of bizarre limestone formations glowing in different colors.
Near the cave is a parking space, an information center, and a gift shop. In addition, there is a cafe, playground, and recreation area. This Imereti destination is definately worth a visit, as its designers paid close attention to every last detail. But a few years ago, the Navenakhevi cave was a semi-abandoned place. It has been known and popular with tourists since the 1980s. However, the infrastructure of the attraction gradually deteriorated and fell into disrepair. A full-scale reconstruction made it possible to breathe new life into the place, and now guests and residents of Georgia can comfortably walk through the mysterious cave, which has been forming underground for thousands of years.
