Tour itinerary:
Our driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning to start the tour. Drive to the Miniature Park. En route, explore the ruins of the Petra Fortress, which dates to the VI century. Arrive in Miniature Park. The miniature park is one of the newer attractions of Georgia and features around 50 miniature architectural monuments from all around Georgia. Continue driving to Borjomi. Overnight in the hotel.
In the morning, take an hour-long drive to Akhaltsikhe and visit Rabati fortress. An old stone Rabati fortress, the main sight of the Akhaltsikhe town, is standing on a small hill on the very shores of the Potskhovi River. Its name comes from Arabic meaning "fortified place". Continue to Vardzia. En route, a short stop at Khertvisi Fortress (10-11th centuries). Head to Vardzia, erected in the 12-13th centuries during the rule of George III and his daughter of Tamara to protect the southern boundaries of Georgia. Vardzia is not just a set of random rooms cut in rocks. It is a multi-storied complex with streets, tunnels, and stairs leading to monasteries, temples, fortresses, baths, libraries dwelling houses, and so forth. Finally, continue to Borjomi for overnight.
In the morning, take a walk in Borjomi Park famous for its mineral water reserves, and in the afternoon head to Batumi. En route, visit Batumi Botanical Garden, which is located on the Green Cape and offers amazing views of the Black Sea. Established in 1880, it is the biggest and oldest botanical garden in the South Caucasus and it hosts an incredible collection of more than 2,000 species of trees. Drop off at your hotel in Batumi.
