PCR Test in Almaty
All travelers to and from Kazakhstan must pass a PCR test for coronavirus in obligatory order. Below you can find a list of laboratories where you can take a PCR test in Almaty. Most laboratories provide the possibility of expedited receipt of test results within 5-8 hours.
Where to take a PCR test in Almaty
A PCR test when crossing the border is needed regardless of the vaccination status (except for vaccinated citizens of Kazakhstan who return home). At the time of passport control, the validity period of the PCR test should not exceed 72 hours.
The cost of the test, the results of which can be obtained during the day, varies around 16-20 US dollars. Please keep in mind that accelerated receipt costs more.
The results of the coronavirus test in Almaty are issued in three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English.
