Kyrgyzstan is a country of mountains that is perfect for lovers of trekking – hiking in the mountains. Often hiking routes are on the height that you shouldn’t worry about Altitude sickness and enjoy comfortable climatic conditions. This tour includes visiting mountainous region in the surroundings of Karakol where there are beautiful gorges, waterfalls and passes on the height of 3600meters with breathtaking views of Tyan-Shan, where you can see glittering waters of a famous Lake Issyk-Kul. In addition to the hike, you will also visit main sites of Bishkek, Karakol and Cholpon-Ata. Kyrgyzstan trekking tour is a real 8-day adventure.
Arrival in
Bishkek, transfer to the hotel. Sightseeing tour:
Oak Park,
Ala-Too Square, Philarmonic, Statue of Manas, Victory Square. Overnight at the hotel.

In the morning transfer to
Karakol (400 km). En route visit
Burana tower, which marks the original site of the Karakhanid town,
Balasagun. Lunch is at the local café. Next stop to visit
open-air art gallery of stone, said to date from 500 BC – 100 AD, they depict wolves, long-horned ibex, goats, horses, snow leopards, sacrifices and some hunting scenes. Dinner in Uigur family. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Karakol – Jety-Oguz (3-4 hours on foot)
Transfer from Karakol to the starting point of the trek through Svetlaya Polyana. The trek takes around 2 hours and goes through the conifer forest until you reach nameless (2725 m). In cloudless day it is possible to experience excellent view of the lake, snow-covered mountain peaks, flower's valley “Kok-Jaik” in the Jety-Oguz gorge. A descent from the pass to the
gorge Jety-Oguz (2200 m). On the way you may visit Jety-Oguz waterfall (20 m). Overnight in tents.

Day 4: Jety-Oguz (5 hours on foot)
Walk up from the camp towards Tilety pass (around 2 hours). The path goes along Jety-Oguz river, through the conifer forests and flower fields. Picnic. Overnight in a tent under the Tilety pass.

Day 5: Jety-Oguz – Tilety pass (6-7 hours on foot)
After breakfast walk up towards the Tilety pass. The path goes along Tilety river (it takes around 3 hours to get to the top of Tilety pass (3665 m). A descent to the Karakol National Park. Overnight in a tent (2465 m).

Day 6: Karakol National Park – Karakol (4-5 hours on foot)
In the morning we take a radial walk to the
Ala-Kul lake where the altitude is 3600 m. The width is 600-700 m, the length is 2,3 km. The path goes through conifer forest in Karakol gorge and then goes up by the moraine to the lake. Return back to the tent. Transfer to Karakol. Dinner in Uzbek family. Overnight in Karakol.

In the morning city tour of Karakol. Visit the wooden
Russian-orthodox church,
Dungan Mosque. Transfer to Bishkek (400 km) along the Southern Shore of Issyk-Kul lake. On the way visit to Skazka gorge, fantastic gorge with red mountain formations. One of the best views on the Issyk-Kul Lake is guaranteed. Continue driving to Bishkek. Overnight at the hotel.

Transfer to the airport (30 km). End of the tour.

Recommended list of personal items: warm clothes, a coat, tracking-boots, sleeping bag, rucksack, flash light, your own First Aid Kit and sunglasses.
Conditions: There are no technical difficulties on the trekking route, but the tourists should have good condition as they will walk around 3-7 hours a day and will go over the pass (3665 m).
