5-day Trekking 2: Ala-Archa National Park5 Days | Bishkek, Ala Archa

A 5-day walking tour in Kyryzstan-2 is a full trip to the mountains, where you will go through the most picturesque places of the National Park Ala-Archa. The trekking route passes through coniferous forests, alpine meadows, waterfalls and glaciers. You will enjoy landscapes a lot, but the real peak of emotions is awaiting you on the Peak Uchitel. Besides, the tour works well considering that the road from Bishkek to the National Park Ala-Acrha is no more than an hour.

Day 1: Bishkek

Arrival in Bishkek, transfer to the hotel. Meet your guide and driver at the airport and start sightseeing tour in Bishkek which includes visits to State History Museum*, Oak Park, Central Square, Philharmonic Hall. Overnight at the hotel.
Meals:-
Duration of sightseeing tour: 4-5 hours
*The History Museum is closed for renovation and no announcements have yet been made on reopening date.

Day 2: Bishkek – Ala-Archa National Park – Racek shelter (5-6 hours)

In the morning transfer to the Ala-Archa National Park (40 km). The trek starts from alpine camp (2200 m) and goes through conifer forests, along Ak-Sai waterfall and flower fields to Racek shelter (3200), it takes around 4 hours. Picnic near the Ak-Sai waterfall (2700 m). Overnight in a tent or in the shelter (3200 m).

Day 3: Racek shelter – Peak Uchitel – Racek shelter

After breakfast you will have radial walking to Peak Uchitel (4526 m ~ 14850 ft). Return to Racek shelter. Overnight in a tent or in the shelter.

Day 4: Racek shelter – Bishkek

Free time in the morning. Lunch. Walk back to the alpine camp. Transfer back to Bishkek. Overnight at the hotel. Farwell dinner.

Day 5: Bishkek – departure

Transfer to the airport (30 km). End of the tour.
Meals: Breakfast

Difficulty level: There are no technical difficulties on the trekking route, but the tourists should be in good form as they will walk around 3-6 hours a day and will go over the pass (4500 m).

Recommended list of personal items: warm clothes, a coat, tracking-boots, sleeping bag, mat, rucksack, flash light, your own First Aid Kit and sunglasses.
