Conference Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace

The Conference Hall is the largest and most majestic in the palace. Its area is 1,615 square meters, the height - 18 meters. The Conference Hall can accommodate up to 3 thousand people. The Conference Hall is located next to Georgievsky Hall and was created in 1933-1934 out of the two 19th-century halls of the palace, Andreyevsky and Alexandrovsky. The white walls and the lighted ceiling give it solemn and businesslike image. The furniture is made of polished walnut. The balcony of the Conference Hallis intended for invited guests. To the left and right from it are the press boxes; along the northern wall stretch the boxes of diplomatic corps.
