Middle Arsenalnaya Tower
On the North-West side of the Kremlin wall stretching along the Alexander Garden, the Middle Arsenalnaya Tower was erected in 1495. It replaced the tower built in the time of Dmitry Donskoy. Its current name the tower acquired from the building of the Arsenal in the beginning of the 18th century. It is crowned with the observation tower. In 1821, when the Alexander Garden was being planted, the amusement grotto at the foot of the tower was constructed.
