Your journey will begin in Tbilisi, the colorful capital of Georgia, where ancient churches, cobbled streets, and cozy cafes come together to tell the story of centuries past. You'll visit the highland region of Kazbegi, marvel at the views of Mount Kazbek, and explore medieval fortresses and charming towns along the way.
In the second part of your adventure, fly east to Uzbekistan—the heart of the Silk Road. From lively Tashkent to timeless Bukhara and majestic Samarkand, you’ll be surrounded by dazzling Islamic architecture, bustling bazaars, and warm hospitality.
This tour includes comfortable transportation, fast trains, centrally located hotels, and daily guided sightseeing. Whether it’s the mountain panoramas of the Caucasus or the turquoise domes of Central Asia, each day brings new discoveries—with just the right pace to truly enjoy them.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Tbilisi
 
Arrival in Tbilisi. You will be met by our driver and transferred to the hotel. Check-in at 2 p.m. You will start your journey in Georgia with Tbilisi city tour at Metekhi church and the monument to Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi. Take a cable car to Narikala Fortress to enjoy breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Walk down to the district of Sulphur bath houses passing by the only mosque in Tbilisi. Stroll through the Sharden area full of narrow streets with cozy cafés, wine tasting bars, souvenir shops, and breathe in the living past. Visit Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, and the clock tower of famous Rezo Gabriadze Theatre. Cross the Bridge of Peace to Rike Park. An excellent round-up to the city tour will be a visit the National Museum of Georgia. The museum holds a golden collection of valuable findings that belong to different periods and epochs presented in the consequence from the Bronze Age (3500-1200 B.C.) up to the 20th century. In the evening, visit a local restaurant to taste dishes of traditional Georgian cuisine. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Ananuri – Kazbegi
 
After breakfast, drive to Mtskheta, one of the oldest towns and the cultural and religious center of Georgia. Mtskheta was the capital of the Eastern Georgian Kingdom of Iberia from the third century BC. Visit Jvari Monastery, a true architectural masterpiece of the early Medieval Period overlooking the confluence of Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers from the top of the hill, and Svetitskhoveli, the main cathedral of Mtskheta and a sacred place where the robe of Christ is being kept. Continue to Ananuri architectural complex, a former residence of Argveti Dukes. A complex featuring churches and towers dating back to the 16-17th centuries is beautifully overlooking Jinvali reservoir. Continue driving on Georgian Military Highway passing through the highest point of it at 2394 m above sea level. Arrive at Kazbegi, a small town with views of Mount Kazbek (or Mkinvari) 5033 m, the seventh highest peak in the Caucasus Mountains. Drive to Gergeti Holy Trinity Church located at an altitude of 2170 m to enjoy breathtaking views to the Mount Kazbegi. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Kazbegi – Gori – Uplistsikhe – Tbilisi
 
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Gori and visit Stalin Museum. The museum includes more than 60,000 artifacts, the tiny house where Stalin was born, and impressive bulletproof train Stalin used to travel to Yalta and Potsdam. Explore cave town Uplistsikhe dating back to Hellenistic Period and notable for unique combination of various styles of rock-cut cultures and the co-existence of pagan and Christian architecture. Drive back to Tbilisi for overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Tbilisi – Tashkent
 
Check-out from hotel at 09:15 and transfer to Tbilisi International Airport. Flight Tbilisi-Tashkent at 11:55. Arrive in Tashkent at 15:55. You will be met by Advantour driver and transferred to the hotel. Check in the hotel. Free evening in Tashkent. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Tashkent – Bukhara
 
Meet your guide at 10:00 to start sightseeing in the capital of Uzbekistan, the biggest city in Central Asia. Visit Old City part of Tashkent with Khast-Imam Complex, where the world famous Quran, holy book, of Caliph Uthman has been preserved. The complex consists of Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, Saint Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari. Continue to Chorsu Bazaar. Then take a ride on Tashkent Metro to the city center to visit Applied Arts Museum and walk through Navoi Theater to Amir Timur Square where you will end Tashkent city tour.
At 18:00 transfer to the train station. Take the high-speed train, Afrosiyob, departing to Bukhara at 18:50 (605 km). Arrival at 22:39. Upon arrival the driver will transfer you to the hotel in Bukhara.
Day 6: Bukhara
 
After breakfast take a walking sightseeing tour with a guide in historic center of Bukhara enlisted by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Visit Lyabi Khauz Ensemble, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Chor-Minor Madrasah, trade domes, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasahs, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque and Miri-Arab Madrasah, legendary Ark Fortress, Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Ismail Samani and Chashma-Ayub mausoleums. Enjoy free time in Old City. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Bukhara – Samarkand
 
Meet your guide and driver at the hotel and visit Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa – the summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir, unique site combining Oriental and Russian architecture. Continue to the Mausoleum of Bakhouddin Naqshbandi and the House Museum of Fayzulla Khodjaev. At 14:40 transfer from the hotel to train station. Take the high-speed train, Afrosiyob, to Samarkand departing at 15:52, arriving at 17:25 (270 km). Upon arrival the driver will transfer you to the hotel in Samarkand.
Day 8: Samarkand – Tashkent
 
Check out from the hotel till noon. Meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby to start city tour. Visit spectacular Registan Square, remains of Bibi-Khanum Mosque, Siab Bazaar, Ulugbek Observatory, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis and Gur-Emir Mausoleum – the mausoleum of Amir Timur. At 16:30 transfer to the railway station to take the high-speed train, Afrosiyob, departing at 17:30 (300 km). You will arrive in Tashkent at 19:40. Pick-up and transfer to the hotel.
Day 9: Tashkent – departure
 
Check-out from the hotel at noon. Free time until transfer to Tashkent International Airport. Departure. End of the 9-day Georgia-Uzbekistan Tour.
